About Corn Palace Festival

Corn Palace Festival is an independent editorial guide to fairs and festivals across the United States — from the World's Only Corn Palace in Mitchell, South Dakota, to the biggest music festivals and the smallest county fairs.

We publish three kinds of content: travel guides to help you decide which events are worth the trip and how to plan them; practical playbooks for the people who organize events and supply them; and a magazine covering the history, culture, and trends of the festival world.

What we stand for

• Accurate over hyped. We don't invent attendance numbers, awards, or credentials. If we can't verify it, we don't claim it.
• Useful first. Every guide should help you make a real decision — what to buy, where to stay, who to hire.
• Independent. We are not affiliated with the City of Mitchell, the Corn Palace, or any festival we cover.
